You can't be serious. There is now plenty of market motivation with high gas prices to make cars get good mpg, and the auto industry is no where near the new standar. 35mpg for the entire fleet! Trucks, SUV's etc included. There is only one way to meet that in the timeframe set up. We're going to go back to the wimpy little engines of the mid late 70's. The HP wars are coming to an end thanks to the retards in office who ride around in their limos and jets and force us to drive crap so they can feel good about their policy
